5. Young Adult programs: This therapy is mainly targeted to youth aged 18-26 years. This age group is known for its high energy levels. So, treatment strategies are aimed at channeling those energies constructively. Therapists use various workout techniques and miscellaneous fitness programs including family workouts as well. They believe that if families are involved in the therapy, the support system for the recovering addict gets strengthened.
6. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT): An addict loses connection with his/her innermost thoughts, feelings, and actions. A widely used therapy, CBT, guides a patient in recovering this connection and understanding the impact of the three on their path to recovery.
7. Holistic healing and experiential therapies: These include yoga, exercises, de-stressing programs, meditation, inner healing, and other detox programs. Experiential or sensorial therapies include equine, music, and art therapies.
