Type of Alcohol Use Disorder Treatment:

• Does not use medication for alcohol use disorder
• Accepts clients using medication assisted treatment for alcohol use disorder but prescribed elsewhere

External Source of Medications Used for Alcohol Use Disorder Treatment:

• Personal physician/health care provider

• Medications for psychiatric disorders

Treatment Approaches:

• anger management
• brief intervention services
• cognitive behavioral therapy
• motivational interviewing
• relapse prevention treatment
• substance use counseling approach
• 12 step rehabilitation
