Twelve Oaks is a free-standing alcohol and drug treatment center located in the Florida panhandle. The five-acre campus borders a sandy beach and provides a serene setting. We incorporate a multi-disciplinary approach, and individual treatment plans are designed based on the specific needs of each patient. Our philosophy is that each individual is unique and of worth and should be treated with dignity and respect. Our fundamental goal is to restore the individual to a healthier, happier and more productive life, free from depedency on alcohol or other drugs. We offer an intensive education program for family members of patients. The family program is designed to help family members learn about the disease of chemical dependency and co-dependency so they may be better equipped to offer positive support for their loved one. 12 Step Involvement Our program is 12 step based and all patients are oriented to and educated about the programs of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). NA and AA meetings are held five days each week.
